The Falls of Autry Mill Community Information

The Falls of Autry Mill is a prestigious swim & tennis community located in North Fulton County’s Johns Creek, Georgia. The entrance is on Old Alabama Road between Jones Bridge Road and Medlock Bridge Road.

With over 470 homes within The Falls of Autury Mill, you will find our Association friendly and active. There are a variety of amenities in the Falls including tennis, swimming, fitness center and other activities.

Over the past several years, The Falls of Autury Mill Homeowners Association completed a $1.5M renovation of the clubhouse, pools, tennis area and children’s playground—with no special assessments!

  • ELECTRICITY: A part of Georgia's modern integrated electrical transmission system, Fulton County has excellent ability to supply industrial demands. Compared to 47% for the U.S., coal accounts for 84% of fuel used by the state's power generating plants. This assures long-term continuity. If demand exceeds 900kw, any supplier can step in and offer service.

    NATURAL GAS: Supplied by Atlanta Gas Light Company and available in industrial quantities on an interruptible basis.

    WATER: The Atlanta Water Works Department serves most of unincorporated Fulton County. Plant capacity: 160,000,000 gal/day. Consumption: 112,000,000 gal/day average; 160,000,000 gal/day maximum. Storage capacity: 6,000,000 gal. elevated; 19,500,000 gal. above ground; 47,000,000 gal. underground. Source: Chattahoochee River. Daily flow: 4,800 cu ft/sec average; 750 cu ft/sec minimum.

    SEWER: Plant Capacity: 217,000,000 gal/day; Plant Load: 167,000,000 gal/day; Sewage treatment provided at 4 Atlanta and 6 Fulton County plants. Major expansions in progress.

  • Thanks to dedicated volunteers at The Falls of Autry Mill the clubhouse has been transformed into a state of the art venue for hosting social events and meetings of every type.

    Upstairs are banquet and party areas, along with a full catering kitchen. An expansive deck lines the rear of the clubhouse overlooking the tennis and swim venues.

    Downstairs are the tennis pro shop, the management office, locker rooms, and the fitness center. Residents access the lower level facilities via their magnetic key card.

    Clubhouse rentals are exclusive to HOA members of The Falls of Autry Mill ONLY.

    The Fitness Center is open to all HOA members, in good standing. Access is granted by the use of the homeowner magnetic key card. Any HOA member, or their resident family, is allowed to use a trainer in the fitness center. Personal trainers can only train residents of The Falls in the facility. All guests must be accompanied by an HOA member when using the amenities of The Falls.

    FULTON COUNTY PROPERTY TAX (EXAMPLE):

    Mathematics of Property Tax Example (Fulton):

    To determine the amount of your property taxes, several values are needed. These values are the Fair Market Value (FMV), Assessed Value (ASV), and the Millage Rate. The Millage Rate is defined as dollars per $1,000.00 of assessed value. For 2006, the Millage Rate for Fulton County has been set at $34.73 per $1000.00 or the decimal equivalent of .03473.

    Fair Market Value (F.M.V.) X 40% = Assessed Value

    Assessed Value X Millage = Tax

    Millage is usually expressed as dollars per $1,000.00 of Assessed Value

    Example: In 2006, Fulton County's millage rate is set at .03473. If your property has a FMV of $500,000, the ASV would be 40% or $200,000. Multiply the ASV of $200,000 by the millage rate of .03473 to determine your property taxes. In this example, property taxes would be $6,946.00
