Ammersee Lakes Community Information

Tucked away in the middle of Johnís Creek GA (named one of the top 100 wealthiest towns in America) is a jewel of a community. Drive through the gates of Ammersee Lakes, past the waterfalls, and over the stone bridges separating the lakes, and you will find a community of 148 homes that define luxury living in the Atlanta area.

Like its Bavarian name-sake, homes in Ammersee Lakes are all about quiet lake living. Fed by the the neighboring Chattahochee River, the centerpiece of Ammersee Lakes are the three man-made lakes that surround the community. With few exceptions, each home in Ammersee Lakes is situated on a beautiful lake front lot. Patios built out over the water offer the perfect opportunity to drop a line in the water for a little catch and release fishing with the kids (or grandkids). The only residents allowed to keep what they catch are the Blue Herons that call Ammersee Lakes home.

You will find that you share the neighborhood with many woodland creatures. Take the one mile walking trail down to the Chattahochee River and you will feel like you are hundreds of miles from civilization. Spend the spring watching a family of ducks grow to maturity, or be awed by the magnificent colors of the Georgia woods in the fall. Life at Ammersee Lakes is about living within natureís beauty.

Of course life at Ammersee Lakes isnít just sitting on the dock watching the sunsets, there is plenty to do for the active family. From kayaking on the river to the two lighted tennis courts, Ammersee Lakes offers everything. A large pool with shower facilities sits in a park like setting at the center of the community. Common areas and a Gazebo offer green-space for many of the community events and private functions for the residents. And for the golfer, Ammersee Lakes borders the Atlanta Athletic Club, home of 3 PGA Championships. Many of the homes look out over the lakes onto the AACís back fairways.

Located in northern Fulton County GA, Ammersee Lakes offers the best in conveniently located suburban living with the luxury of tranquil estate life.

Johns Creek is still one of the most beautiful spots in the area. For todayís inhabitants the dining and shopping options are almost endless. Everything from fine dining to a quick bit are available within a mile or two. For shopping, Discovery Mills and The Forum are nearby. And to add a little culture to the soul, Atlanta is of course very close.
